AI works only after your explicit action. We Now does not save the text you enter or the result in an AI history, and it does not automatically send check-in answers.

What data is processed
- the account identifier, email address and display name received from Apple or Google; or the Telegram user ID, name and username if Telegram sign-in was chosen;
- the fact that age was confirmed, and the versions of the terms and consents that were accepted;
- the members of the pair, invitations, personal settings for topics, depth and rhythm, and reactions to questions;
- the internal state of a conversation thread: the linked original question, the follow-up number, and the shared status, without recording who stopped it;
- questions, your answers, and the revealed shared history;
- if you use AI assistance: the text you enter for the duration of the request; the result is returned to you without the text being stored in the We Now database;
- explicitly selected communication preferences and separate permission to use them for the pair;
- if you enabled reminders: the chosen channel, the time and time zone, the Telegram user/chat ID, the web push subscription address or the device token for in-app notifications, and a short-lived technical delivery log;
- session information and minimal technical security and reliability events, including the model, behavior version, latency, tokens, status, and AI helpfulness rating, without the text of the request or response.
Purposes and legal bases for processing
Account and pair data are needed to provide We Now features and to perform the terms of use. Session and security data are processed to protect accounts and prevent abuse. Answers and history are processed on the basis of your separate, explicit consent. For answers, processing means storing them temporarily, disclosing them to your partner once you have both answered, and then deleting them. Answer text is not analysed and is not used for advertising or model training.
AI assistance and its boundaries
When you confirm submission, We Now sends the text you entered, your selected goal, language, and permitted communication settings to Tooken Club to create the result. We Now does not write raw text or the AI response to its database or application logs. Check-in answers, the pair archive, other people's AI requests, and your partner's exact settings are not sent automatically.
Do not enter passwords, documents, health or intimate-life information, or another person's sensitive data. Do not submit sensitive personal data to AI assistance.
AI can be wrong and offers possible wording rather than determining anyone's true thoughts or motives. You review and edit the result and decide whether to send it. You can change, disable for the pair, or delete communication settings at any time; shared context is enabled only after both participants grant permission.
Answers and sensitive information
A free-form answer may contain information about health, personal and intimate life, religious beliefs, and other special categories of personal data. Do not share information about other people without their permission. Before you begin, We Now asks for separate, explicit consent to process such information; you can withdraw that consent by deleting your account or by contacting the operator.
Who sees the answers
Before the reveal, each person sees only their own answer. Once you have both answered, the texts open to the two people in the pair at the same time. No other pair gains access to them. Technical access by the operator is permitted only where necessary for security, to fix a fault, or to comply with a lawful request.
Pair rhythm and conversation threads
Each person chooses their rhythm separately. The service applies the calmer of the two and does not show the exact value, who set it, or when it changed. The shared schedule and the date of the next question may nevertheless indirectly suggest that the calmer setting is in use. If you both wish to return to a revealed topic, the service may create a thread of two subsequent editorial questions. Only settings and catalog attributes are used for scheduling and follow-ups; the text of answers, their length, and the time they were written are not analysed.
Providers and cross-border transfer
Apple, Google and, at your choice, Telegram are used for sign-in; Cloudflare is used for hosting and data processing; Tooken Club is used for AI assistance that you explicitly start. AI assistance may involve a cross-border transfer; We Now does not promise a specific processing country or data-residency region. Telegram also sends the server signed Mini App launch data. If you voluntarily enable reminders, Telegram or your browser's push service receives only a neutral message without the question, answer, or information about your partner's activity. By accepting the notice and separately starting AI assistance, you explicitly consent to the corresponding cross-border transfer and understand that the level of data protection may differ from that established where you live.
Retention periods
Revealed conversations are kept for 90 days from the reveal and are deleted within the following hour. Unfinished and skipped conversations are deleted within an hour of the end of the corresponding UTC day. Technical events related to running the product are kept for no more than 30 days, after which only aggregated figures remain, with no user or pair identifiers.
Telegram as a sign-in method is kept until the account is deleted. The Telegram link used for reminders and the web push subscription are kept until the channel is disconnected or the account is deleted. Used one-time tokens, Telegram update IDs and the delivery log are deleted within 30 days at the latest. Closing a pair stops reminders, and they must be enabled again for a new pair.
If either person closes the pair, the shared questions, answers, history and the pair link are deleted for both, with no way to restore them. Deleting an account deletes the account, its active sessions and its related data, except for information the operator is required by law to retain temporarily.
AI operation metadata without text is retained for no more than 30 days. We Now does not create an AI request history; communication settings are kept until they are reset, the pair is closed, or the account is deleted.
Cookies and analytics
We Now does not use advertising or analytics cookies, advertising SDKs, session replay, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Only strictly necessary secure session cookies are used, for sign-in and security.
Your rights
You can request information about the processing, obtain a copy of your data, request correction, restriction, or deletion, and withdraw your consent. You can delete your account in We Now settings. You can send a request toprivacy@wenowapp.com; to protect your data the operator may ask you to confirm that you are the account owner.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact the competent data protection authority or a court.
Security and changes
We Now restricts access, encrypts data in transit, and deletes data regularly according to the stated retention periods. If the purposes, the categories of data, or the transfer rules change materially, the service will ask you to accept a new version before you continue.
